This listing is for Night Heron’s EAST AND WEST Units together, for a total of 12BR (2x6BR), sleeping 36.

We own both the the Night Heron, East Unit, and the Night Heron, West, Unit, which you can book separately, or you can book them together as a 12BR, sleeping 36, as the Night Heron, East & West! Private pool PER SIDE! However you choose to slice and dice it, it will be a great stay! There is a hotel-style connecting door on the main level in the living room!

BRAND NEW in 2021. High end features and furnishings. Awesome open floor plan on main level. Well accommodated kitchen with island.

LOCATION!
Walkable to Bahama Bob’s, Hangout, so much more! Convenient to walk to ice cream, Island Outfitters (right across 4th street!), beverage store, Italian ice, and more! 10 minutes walk to the Hangout, 2 minutes to Bahama Bobs (we are EAST of Bahama Bobs). So close to everything, yet in your own private duplex, whether you rent one side, or both, you get your own private pool (TWO if you rent both sides!). No sharing unlike condos etc!

POOL?
You bet. Private PER SIDE! EACH UNIT has its OWN private pool. No sharing.
Added a propane gas pool heater, so YES the pool is heatable to a maximum of 82′ (the high side of recommended rec pool temps) to take the chill off! This service is by request in advance with a per night surcharge for length of stay (gas is expensive right now, this does not actually recoup the cost!). Fee subject to change due to incredibly high gas rates right now. Any online quote will show the optional fee and its current pricing. You may also add it after booking by simply requesting the pool be heated any time after making the reservation and at least a few days before check in so we can get it on before you arrive. Each side of the Night Heron sleeps 18 in beds. NO SLEEPER SOFAS

All bedrooms have private suite bathrooms, except the bunk room. One bedroom’s bathroom on each floor has hallway access as well for common use.

EXTRA FRIDGE
We added an extra fridge in an outside storage area. Pull up, unload. Done. Need a beverage while at the pool? Walk over to your fridge without having to trek inside. Full size extra fridge!

BEACH ACCESS
Beach access could not be easier! The 4th Street public beach is right across the street. How do you get there? Walk out the door, go to to the stop light in front of the property, push button, and cross the street! No crossing random places or getting yelled at for short cutting through private property!

PARKING
There is available onsite parking for 4 cars per side (2 under the side, 2 in front of the side). Additional overflow parking is available a few blocks away if needed and by request.

WIFI/INTERNET
YES! We have an awesome Eero mesh network to ensure excellent wifi coverage throughout this spacious home. Spotty coverage is always an issue for big places. Sure internet may work next to the router in the living room, but what about the far reaches of the home!? That’s why we installed a multi-node mesh network. And what’s the internet like? It is generally solid and ran > 100Mb down the last test–sufficient for several simultaneous video conference sessions for remote work and education. Internet is, of course, an amenity and subject to service provider outages (and guests “troubleshooting” it), especially with the havoc the sand and salt wreak on cabling and facilities, no more so than any other home on the beach though, and likely better since its close in and new construction!

SOAPS, TOWELS, COFFEE, GRILLS ETC ETC
As with most beach homes in the area, the local mgt co provide what they call a “starter supply” of soaps, toilet paper, and paper towels, etc. Enough for the first night to get you going! Please plan to bring or purchase additional supplies, and any cleaning or pantry supplies you may need, or to make a quick run to the store (or have it delivered!). You will want to bring beach towels or beach chairs as well. Because mgt cos will not generally support them, grills are not provided, though they are sometimes inherited from prior guests: your mileage may vary on this, and we usually assess and then go snag a small charcoal kettle when we come down ourselves. Also of note: at many locations, you may find the bunk beds (and certain other beds) are not fully made–instead a bedding pack is provided. This is a common practice for the local management companies, which is both green (if the bedding is not used, it doesn’t have to be laundered) AND more sanitary–housekeeping does not have to crawl on the bunks and so on to make the beds. Also also… all our homes have both drip coffee makers and Keurigs as well.

This listing is for BOTH sides of the duplex together. Like having a 10 bedroom but with two of almost everything: kitchens, living rooms, more! Plus, a little bit of separation since even though you will be next door to each other, you won’t all be in one place. When renting both sides, guests may unlock the connecting door on the deck to allow for access between the two sides without going up and down the stairs from the main entries.

This is one of my guests’ favorite places. Lots of repeat visitors each year! Great price for a recently redone beachfront duplex. RIGHT ON THE BEACH. Full kitchen, living room, and laundry per side.

Beach Axis’ deck is as close to the gulf as you can get in the area. Folks LOVE LOVE LOVE its gulf front decks! Most nearby units have their pool behind the homes, putting the pool between you and the beach. Not Beach Axis. Beach Axis’ pool is streetside. Sit on the deck, enjoy the sunset, while most neighbors are behind you! How nice is that! The pool is private to the two sides of the duplex—not shared with any other home.

Big. Streetside. Private to the two sides of the duplex: no sharing with other places nearby. The pool is open all year. It’s a big oval, 30x15x3-6’. Lounge chairs are provided around the pool.

PETS
We do consider well-behaved canine furry friends at many locations. This requires owner pre-approval, and is subject to a pet fee (currently $250 per pet). Approval in a duplex location, especially for peak weeks, generally is only available for guests renting both sides of the duplex. Please inquire.

No smoking please, but feel free to eat lots of shrimp, bask in the warm sun, and have a great time!

Summer Tide is a sprawling gulf front home with 8 bedrooms and 5 baths, sleeping up to 26 people. It is located approximately 5.2 miles west of Hwy. 59 on West Beach Blvd., in Gulf Shores. A uniquely designed one level home, Summer Tide features a south and a north wing, each with a fully equipped kitchen and an open deck that wraps around the east side of the property. The layout for this home allows added privacy and is perfect for multiple families, or a family wanting some separation between adults and children.

The South wing of Summer Tide has four bedrooms, including 3 bedrooms with a king bed in each, one room with two double/single bunk beds, and a bunk room with two single bunks. There are three full baths in this wing: two private and one Hollywood bathroom (shared by the rooms with the queen bed and two twins). The master suite in this South wing is gulf front with picture windows and a tub–soak away your worries and enjoy the view.

The North wing of Summer Tide also features picture windows on the East side of the property offering views from the living area and kitchen. There are three bedrooms, each with a king bed, and two full baths (one private and one shared).

Both living areas offer good great gulf views and each includes a queen sleeper sofa for a bit of extra sack space. A ground floor entry features a foyer and sleeping area with two bunk beds that would be great for four children. The covered parking for Summer Tide is ample.

This is a 2x5BR duplex. This listing is for BOTH sides, together, for a total of 10 bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, and 2 of everything else… like a 10 bedroom home, but TWO kitchens, two living rooms, and TWO POOLS too! Sleeps 42 altogether!

Sea Urchins has a sweet private pool for each side, and the gulf is directly across the road. There’s nothing standing between you and the water except West Beach Blvd, and then you come back home for your own private dip in the pool! AND, you get to the beach, crossing the road, at a CROSSWALK right at the corner of our property. Easy…

Each side of the duplex is a 5 bedroom and 5 bath unit.

If you haven’t stayed in a vacation home with these extras, you’ll find out what you’ve been missing and never want to stay somewhere without them! From kid’s drinks to adult beverages to lots of leftover shrimp, having the extra space is a must for the well-seasoned travelers.

Because of high demand during the summer season, the units are available for full week stays only: in the end, though, don’t you really deserve a whole week of rest, relaxation, and fun!

Because mgt cos will not generally support them, grills are not provided, though they are sometimes inherited from prior guests: your mileage may vary on this, and we usually assess and then go snag a small charcoal kettle when we come down ourselves. Also of note: at many locations, you may find the bunk beds (and certain other beds) are not fully made–instead a bedding pack is provided. This is a common practice for the local management companies, which is both green (if the bedding is not used, it doesn’t have to be laundered) AND more sanitary–housekeeping does not have to crawl on the bunks and so on to make the beds. Also also… all our homes have drip coffee makers and most now have Keurigs as well.

No smoking please, but feel free to eat lots of shrimp, bask in the warm sun, and have a great time!
